Jyoti Ning-Shing Kung's Class Style(s)

Jyoti Ning-Shing Kung, RYT-200, has been teaching Beginner Hatha classes at the NJ IYI for over four years. She has also completed Raja Yoga Teacher Training. After finishing her first teacher training program, Jyoti’s trainer directed her to the NJ IYI, where she was drawn to Integral Yoga’s holistic practice, which includes postures, breathing, and meditation. Jyoti’s favorite practice to teach is Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep, which she sees as a gateway that allows students to move beyond the body and mind and connect with their spirituality. In her yoga practice and personal journey of self-healing, she regularly incorporates mindfulness, breathing techniques, and metta. Outside of yoga, Jyoti enjoys creating spontaneous and collaborative art, including 3D pieces made from found and recycled objects and mandala drawings.
